Dr. Clinton Lee has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, an MBA in Finance and a Doctorate in Business Administration. He has attained the highest qualification from the Wine Spirit and Education Trust based in London, the WSET Diploma and the Certified International Educator. He is the CEO of Vinoscenti Canada and China. Both these institutions offer the WSET program.

He has also attained the Certified Specialist of Wine, Certified Specialist of Spirits designation and the French Wine Scholar (USA). He is a Certified Sherry Educator awarded by the Consejo De Regulador (Spain) and is a wine judge with the Hong Kong International Wine Judge Association. He is currently undertaking the Master of Wine (MW) studies. He has been a lecturer at the University of Simon Fraser teaching and developing the wine program there for the last three years. Dr. Lee has been hosted by the Wine Institute of Germany, The Italian Vinitaly and Italian Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish and Chinese governments. Dr. Lee has trained and passed the Whisky Ambassador program in Scotland and is the only recognized Whisky Ambassador to offer Whisky classes in British Columbia and across the globe.

Dr. Lee an international wine lecturer and wine writer and critic who has delivered lectures to a wide body of audiences ranging from professional bodies to the wine aficionados. He is a Hong Kong International Wine Judge and a frequent speaker at the Hong Kong International Wine Fair. Dr. Lee has travelled to all the major wine regions of the world and He has taught WSET programs and other wine courses both in Canada and internationally in China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan Argentina, France, Hungary and Italy. Using both specialized knowledge streams he effectively projects them as a bridge to explore other cultures.

Dr. Lee is the founder and CEO of the Asia Pacific Wine and Spirit Institute (APWASI) a non-profit organization committed to promoting cultural exchange using wine and spirits as the bridge to greater understanding within the different cultures of the Asia Pacific Rim countries and the wine producing countries. He has consulted extensively with wineries, winemakers and the wine industry in Canada, USA, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Chile, China, South Africa, Italy and France with identifying wine brands, blending and marketing of wines.

Serena Lu BA. MA


Serena has a BA and also an MA from Lyon France. She has over 20 years working experience and has been involved in the wine industry for over 7 years. She holds a WSET Level 3 and has coordinated all the wine classes for Vinoscenti. Serena speaks 4 languages and has export experience and working with freight forwarders and presenting and preparing for trade shows.


Laurent Lafuente


The quintessential French winemaker. He brings with him the flair and seriousness to the winery and his wines have defined the terroir superbly. With a vast background in winemaking spanning over two decades Laurent has amassed a reputation for himself as a top consultant in the industry across both in Europe and North America. Having spent time in France and Switzerland, as well as the Pacific North West in Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver gaining acclaim for his work with various accolades a long the way. Having been with the winery since 2011 Laurent will continue his tradition of quality, class, and finesse with Vinoscenti Vineyards.

Angela Wu

Wine Educator and Int. Sales

Angela took her first steps towards a teaching position after she enthusiastically completed her WSET
Level 1 and 2. She is currently pursuing her WSET Level 3. Angela has developed a passion for all things
wine. Her travels have taken her all over the world: Napa Valley, Bordeaux and even Verona. With
degrees in finance and marketing, Angela is an instructor for the Chinese WSET courses and Wine tours.
She is highly experienced in public relations and marketing and has extensive export knowledge of wines
to China.
